Two Children in Uniform

Charlottetown, PEI

Circa 1930's

A young boy and girl stand on stone steps in front of a building. It is believed the building is Province House in Charlottetown. The boy is Fred MacInnis, son of a Cape Breton Highlander officer, J.A. MacInnis. The boy is dressed in a Cape Breton Highlander uniform including a glengarry and cap badge, and is holding a set of bagpipes. The girl looks to be slightly older and is dressed in a non highland military style uniform. She is unidentified. The photo was taken when the Cape Breton Highlanders were in PEI during summer camp.
