Lt-Col. MacKeigan was the commanding officer of the Cape Breton Highlanders from May, 1921 to May, 1927. He is shown at a summer camp with his twin sons, Tom and Jack.

Lt-Col. Freeman O'Neil

Cape Breton Highlanders

Summer Camp

Circa 1930's

Lt-Col. O'Neil was the commanding officer of the Cape Breton Highlanders from February, 1932 to February, 1937. He is shown on board the SS Farnorth. Men of the Cape Breton Highlanders can be seen in the background. They are probably heading to or returning from summer camp.
