This section contains photos of two examples of officer cap badges for the 94th Victoria Regiment "Argyll Highlanders" circa late 1800's to 1920.

Pictured above is a one piece officer cap badge. The badge appears to be made of a brass base metal and is of heavy, solid construction with cut outs. The back is smooth and concave with an approximate 2mm raised ridge around the perimeter. The front has a gilt coating with polished highlights. The back has two lugs and is marker marked “J.R. GAUNT MONTREAL”. The badge measures approximately 35mm wide x 50mm high.
Note that this example has cut outs between the oak leaves and the inner ring of the badge. These cut outs are not present in Example 2 below.
