Titus Milton Mossman - Section 5

This section contains a booklet describing the history of The Church of All Saints, in Witley, England, circa 1916-1917. The Colours of four Canadian battalions, including the 85th Battalion (Nova Scotia Highlanders) and the 185th Battalion (Cape Breton Highlanders), were deposited in the church for safekeeping while the battalions were in England and in France. The last page of the booklet mentions the four battalions. Nearby Witley Camp housed many Canadian units while they were in England.
