The Bayeux Memorial is located on the outskirts of the town of Bayeux. It was erected in honour of the 1803 men of the Allied land forces who died in the fighting in Normandy and in the advance to the River Seine, and who have no known grave. Alexander Joseph MacInnis' name is inscribed on Panel 27, Column 2.
