Unidentified Detachment of Soldiers

Circa 1916

During the early days of the unit, each county was allowed to keep and train a detachment of soldiers until the battalion finally mobilized at Windsor in May, 1916. This detachment of men is unidentified, as is the location. Note at the top of the tree line just to the right of the roof of the large building, there appears to be a roof and turrets of a large building in the distance. Perhaps this could be a key to identifying the location.
